Description: : When this spell is cast, the illusionist created a quasi-real suit of plate mail. This semi-illusionary material covers the subject and actually gives some real protection unless the opponent actively disbelieves in the armor (save versus spell), or else a dispel illusion or dispel magic spell is cast upon it, or a wand or negation affects it. Until gone the armor protects the wearer as if he or she wee in plate mail(AC 3, and armor type 3 as well). For each level of the spell caster, the phantom armor will absorb 1 point of damage delivered be blow which would otherwise hit AC 3. When phantom armor has absorbed said hit point worth of damage it vanishes. Additionally it allows a bonus of +1 on all saves normally protected by magic armor. The armor does not affect movement or spell casting ability. It is not subject to a rust monster attack. The spell will not function with any other form of magical protection.
Material Component(s): A piece of Mithral worth 10 g.p.
