Description: By means of this spell, the illusionist surrounds himself with a swirling cloak of shadows which protects him from attack. Which in effect, the cloak adds +3 to AC, +1 to saves and makes the illusionist immune to normal weaponry for the spells duration. Further, any creature who makes physical contact with the protected illusionist will lose a point of strength and 2-8 HPs for each physical attack made; these points serve to heal the illusionist (up to his maximum HPs) An added effect of this cloak is that the wearer is immune to any life draining attack, including the loss of strength by shadows or magic. Attacks made by missiles or weapons over five feet in length do not drain the attacker unless physical contact between the attackers flesh and the cloak are made. The illusionist cannot opt to purposefully touch victims with this spell. This spell can be negated by dispel magic, dispel illusion, continual light, or continual darkness, although the latter two spells are canceled in the process. Any being immune to draining attacks take no damage from this spell, and any item which protects against draining similarly protects its bearer.
